The Dancers is a commissioned project.
Painted for a couple’s new downtown condo, this diptych was created using acrylic and a handmade pluff mud pigment, sourced from the local coastline and built up in layered applications. The material itself becomes part of the story, grounding the work in place while the forms move and respond to one another — echoing a shared life, a home built over time, and all that’s still unfolding.
