With a mother from Puerto Rico and a father from New York, Nysa has been given the gift of ‘both’ — both cultures, both languages, both homes, and both influences. It’s a duality that has brought so much depth to her life and is the greatest inspiration for her work.

No matter where her life has taken her, color, texture, culture, food, and people who see the world from different perspectives have inspired her, challenged her, taught her, and grounded her.

Nysa started drawing at a young age — dreaming of becoming a fashion designer of exclusively tennis outfits and wedding dresses — and first launched Nysa Creative in 2017 with large-scale corporate murals and commissioned paintings.

She paints murals, creates original and commissioned paintings, and collaborates with businesses and other artists to bring creative projects to life.
